WHAT WE DO
We try to create favourable conditions for each employee and pay great attention to the development and training of personnel, as well as participate in conferences as speakers, organise meetups and hackathons.

Our team

We were once a tiny startup that gradually transformed into a large team. While being aware of current trends, we tried to preserve the spirit of an extended family. We wanted all our employees to enter the office thinking about how fun it is to be working with us, anticipating each working day, and enjoying it to the fullest, with new challenges, fun pastime, and a comfortable environment.
While we are growing and developing, the number of teams and projects is increasing, our developers are becoming Tech Leads, the processes are changing, and we change, too. Our employees build up technical competencies and share them with the world. We also keep working on open-source and, being part of the Ruby community, participate in their events. We love good jokes.
Sometimes, we're walking on thin ice with these in our messengers, so this may be uncomfortable for people with a refined sense of humor. Our company is here to stay, and many employees have been working with us since the day Umbrellio was founded. Naturally, we want them to feel comfortable. We keep up to date with the modern technologies, we are not afraid to try new languages and new frameworks, and absolutely love microservices and AI. All in all, we are your regular Joes - we enjoy playing board games in the evening, grilling some fish on the terrace or playing the guitar during lunchtime. We don't wear suits or ties to work, our developers prefer the ultracasual style called 'whatever suits you.' Sometimes, they walk around in cozy slippers or crocs or put on kigurumis. Communication is not limited to work issues: Together, we can bake cakes in the kitchen, hold competitions on darts, foosball and table tennis… Just because we can!

Our work challenges are diverse and exciting, and the number of teams and projects is constantly increasing. We are the only development centre with exclusive agreements with a number of European customers.
Traffic Management System
This project deals with the full range of tasks related to client domains: Integration with domain name registrars, CDN management, deployment on web servers, tracking availability, and automating various processes for domain management and monitoring. This projecttracking customer traffic - it provides a range of analytics tools.
BI Analytics
This team deals with forming reports in Tableau, the development of a unified business logic for all indicators in data reporting and automation in regular data fetching.
Anti-fraud solution
Anti-fraud solution, primarily aimed at meeting legal requirements. This also includes user behaviour analysis and the automatic application of necessary sanctions.
Product Unetsafe
This project deals with searching and integrating new payment systems, as well as provides a cash register widget with the maximum possible and effective number of payment methods. Unetsafe also develops systems for financial reporting and payment transactions analysis.
High-load platform
High-load platform for calculating financial performance, monitoring statistics, and providing analytics. The project integrates new partners and products and processes millions of requests on an everyday basis. Platform provides data to increase the conversion of partners, while it also integrates tools to implement international promotional campaigns.

High-load СRM platform
Large-scale CRM system that efficiently manages thousands of users. The project offers tools for providing full support to high-load platforms' users, obtains up-to-date information about users and their actions, controls document verification, monitors business processes and motivates users via various means of communication - phone calls, texts, e-mail, etc.
IT department
IT Department includes three teams: System administrators team, DevOps team, Service desk team.
Сonsolidation
Deals with data consolidation, as such, extracting data from various sources, converting it into a single format, which can be later loaded into a Data Lake or an analysis information system, and forming and monitoring this Data Lake to support the data analysis process.
Highload customer communication system: chat, widget & social messengers
Develops and maintains an embedded chat for communication and customer support for our clients' projects. This chat supports both direct communication with the operator through the widget, as well as messages sent via popular social messengers. At the moment, we are splitting a large monolithic application into separate services.
Product Hermes
Develops tools for automating business processes of financial accounting, analysis and control.
Machine learning
Develops and implements machine learning-based products in order to optimise business processes. Its main directions of development are data processing and analysis, user scoring, recommendation systems, anti-fraud systems.
Hydra: Marketing Platform
Hydra allows you to accumulate marketing and service notifications of your partner's users. This product provides you with complete and comprehensive management of various types of communications, including e-mail, texts, webpush, auto-dialing. In addition to this, Hydra provides statistics on each of the channels to determine whether communication was successful or not, and allows you to automate the process of interaction with the end user.
Information security
This secret department deals with security of whatever it may be, especially applications security, conducts various audits using audit analysers and Black Box testing, takes care of Change Management, and owns documentation at ISO 27001 level.
